Update - 12th November 2008:: As of yesterday, the only Microgaming casino
that accepts players from the USA is Intertops
although even then, players from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York,
Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin are no longer accepted.

Intertops is
the "last man standing" as far as Microgaming casinos go in the USA. While it was never the best casino
using Microgaming software in my book - being UK based I have more options - it does have a good reputation
and the company has been around since 1995.
The good news is that they have over 350 games (you name it!), a Flash casino option plus their own payment
processor which makes depositing and cashing out easier for American players in these times of grey law and
a clapdown on Internet gambling. The games are better than those at the RTG casinos listed here in my opinion
but if you want to try them, then this is your last choice.

The Microgaming casinos below no longer accept US players

All Jackpots is
another popular Microgaming casino, and while it's true that it does have a lot of jackpot games, it also
carries all of the standard Microgaming casino games too - some 300 of them! For slots players, All Jackpots
has the Microgaming slots tournament module built in, plus unlike most of the others with this module
( Royal Vegas being the exception),
All Jackpots runs a whole load of exclusive freeroll slot tournaments including some with a $50k main prize!
Once again banking options for the USA are pretty varied, so there should be an option available for everyone,
however the 11 States (mentioned above) that have banned online gambling are once again excluded from All Jackpots.
This is the case now at all Microgaming casinos and RTG Casinos offer the only options
for players from those States.

Royal Vegas Casino has been one
of the more popular US online casinos for some years. It's a reputable joint running on Microgaming software (you will generally
find all Microgaming licencees reputable by the way as
they are strictly licenced). One of the stand-out elements to Royal Vegas casino is the addition of Microgaming slot
tournaments' module which RV are using to full effect. They run regular $10k Tomb raider tournies and as I write there
is a $150k slots freeroll going on!
A good range of banking options are presented - but once again, Online Casinos USA advise players to be aware of their local laws
regards online casino gambling. In Royal Vegas' instance, the 11 States are banned once again.

Jackpot City Casino is an
online casino from the Belle Rock Entertainment group, in itself owned and operated by the giant Carmen Media. Having
been around since the late 90's, Jackpot Ciy has built up a solid reputation, does 7-days-a-week cashout
processing and offers a huge variety of games. Name it, it's probably there. Belle Rock have been maligned in the past for
their slow support response - fairly typical of the bigger casino groups - although there has been some improvement
in the past year, it's still a tad slow.
There is a good range of banking options, despite the USA government's best attempts to stop US residents from
gambling online. Players should note that the US States of Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada,
New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin all forbid online gambling.
